Starting off the day I thought that there would not be much for me to write about and I would just not have a post for today since we were just doing staff training but was I wrong. During our staff training our new director of Alaska told us her life story and I was blown away. She has had a lot of experience with counseling women who have been or are in abusive relationships and just trusts God to with her every decision, letting him guide wherever she goes and he has always provided opportunities for her to help and testify to others. I can not wait till I get the chance to sit down with her and pick her brain about the ways she hears God and all her experiences.

As the day went on we traveled to the Men's Dream Center and got to meet Kevin who is an amazing fountain of wisdom. He has an amazing outlook on everything, including the disciples participating at the rehab center, and connects it all to a biblical point. One of the things that really stood out to me he said is "if a person is breathing, they have a chance". Now stop and reread that. Isn't that an amazing thought to have and something we should remember as we go on our journey and face people who have hurt us in the past or might still be hurting us. The other thing he said that really stood out to me was about how our spiritual life is just like growing flowers or crops. If you want the best outcome you have to water them everyday and give them your time and effort; so if you want your faith to grow you have to spend time in the word of God and in prayer. By doing so, God will bless your life with spiritual prosperity. I also learned there that Non-profits can get a Military Surplus credit where they can buy used, but still working great, military equipment at pennies on the dime.

We went to finish our days staff training on a mountainside peak looking down and while there saw God do his magic. During the training a girl came up and asked to pet Snickers, our Director's dog. While petting her our Director started talking to her and gave the best example of a one minute who Jesus Christ is and how he died for your soul message. I was in awe of how amazing she was at talking to this girl who came up to pet a dog and not missing a beat to spread the gospel to her that my jaw legit dropped. After that we finished the night with dinner at a couple's house who actually runs the men and women's dream centers. Just hearing their stories and seeing how passionate they were was awesome. I could actually feel the love of doing God's work coming from them and it was so refreshing, my cup fills overflowed. After everything that happened today when I thought I would have nothing to report on, I can't wait to see the amazing things God is going to do on these upcoming trips and how I can help the groups. I challenge you to look take a look at the seeds you are planting in your own life and be honest with your self if you need to spend more attention on them or maybe you have the wrong kind of seeds planted so you need to replant and start over. Whatever it may be just remember that God grows roses on our barren soil and he is a faithful God.
